International Christian Mission Services (ICMS) began with Canadian and American Christians traveling around the world. During their travels, these private individuals witnessed great poverty and desperate need for a Saviour. They discovered, by spending relatively small amounts of North American dollars, they were able to influence great physical and spiritual change. They needed an organization to facilitate their mission objectives.

Today, ICMS oversees several Christian missions around the world. From Bible schools and orphanages, to self-help, literacy and feeding programs; ICMS insures that projects are managed according to a strict set of guidelines. ICMS is a registered Charity with the Canada Revenue Ageny and the Internal Revenue Services in the USA. In this capacity we can issue tax receipts for donations made to the ministries of ICMS. We strive to meet all legal and regulatory matters relating to the operations of Christian Charities in Canada and the United States.

Tabita Ministries Romania, a trans-denominational ministry, is inspired by Acts 9:36-43. This is the account of Dorcas, also called Tabitha, (Tah-BEE-tah is the Romanian pronunciation for Tabitha) who was a woman from Joppa known for befriending and helping the poor.

The heart of Tabita Ministries is to alleviate poverty, bringing help and hope to those in need in the country of Romania. These objectives are accomplished through an Emergency Food & Clothing Program, Emergency Shelter, Agape Sunday Outreaches and future Micro Business Initiatives.   Seventy years of communist dictatorship has robbed many Romanians of the courage and desire to help themselves.  There is a great need for encouragement and support as they work towards this goal.  The focus is primarily on helping Children, Single Mothers, and the Elderly & Infirm, striving to encourage families as they face day to day challenges.

While attending church camp, a chalk art presentation inspired Milton to acquire training in Chalk Art Evangelism and develop his talents for Christian Ministry. Today Milton is an accomplished chalk artist, sharing the Gospel with his wife Kathryn, a gifted singer.  Together Milton and Kathi bring years of experience sharing the Gospel in prisons, street missions, rehabilitation centers, and churches.

The combination of seeing and hearing leaves a lasting impression and is very effective in sharing the Gospel. It is Milton and Kathi’s desire to effectively communicate the Gospel through Music, Art, and the Spoken word so that the weak in faith will be encouraged, the sick in body will be healed, and the lost in sin will be saved. Over the years, all Glory to God, many people have received Salvation through this ministry.
